I don't think it will affect your health in the future but you do run a risk of getting an infection any time you get a piercing. That is about the worst I can think of right now. Good luck!

it is pierced profesionally, and heals well, there should be absolutely no adverse health risks whatsoever
this is one that often gets infected as 16-year-olds get it as a fashion statement then don't look after it properly - it needs to be looked after and kept clean as it heals (a professional piercer will tell you how best to do this). other than pregnancy or unexpected weight gain/loss, very little should then affect it.

I've got one. I love it. After getting it done, you should take care of it by disinfecting it wih alcohol once a day. It will completely heal in about 2 months. It has no way of affecting your health. It's not on the inside of your body. Plus, skin is the most elastic part of the body. Take care!

it depends how old u r. if u r 16 or under ur body hasnt finished growing and it can be a real risk getting it done. my friend went t get hers done wen she was 16 and the place wouldnt let her - said it was 2 risky! they generally do get infected but it passes.

I think a well reputable facility will be okay. But beyond health reasons please have the figure for it. I'm so sick of tummy roll women getting navel piercing and showing the off.
