under one of my cat's forearms i have a rather large lump under the skin. what could this be?

It is most likely a cyst, but could be something more serious. Suggest you get it looked at by a vet ASAP. It will be very uncomfortable for the animal even if it is not a more serious problem.

Lumps should be examined - take the cat to the vet.

i think you should take your cat to the vet as it could be a number of things but the vet will know best

There are many reasons for a lump to occur so its difficult for us to decide, I prefer to take her to vet.
