Could have something to do with your gums. The only way to know for sure is to see your dentist so that they can evaluate this situation further to see what they think could be causing this bleeding.

Could be a couple of things - you could be brushing too hard - a common cause - your teeth could be sensitive - it is your gums that are bleeding not the teeth. Go and see your dentist for more advice - in the meantime get some sensitive toothpaste - and brush gently.

Just brush better. It sounds like you have mild gingivitis. Nothing to worry about, just keep the teeth clean by brushing often, like after every meal. Eventually, the bleeding should stop. If this continues for over a week or is very painful, I suggest seeing a dentist.

If you bleed anytime you brush or floss that means you have gingivitis at the least, if not something more serious like periodontitis. Daily, thorough flossing deep under the gums and good gum brushing will more than likely get rid of the bleeding. Make sure you check with your hygienist to confirm that it is a gum issue and not a perio abscess or something else though.
