There are a number of possibilities (such as a hormone imbalance) but the only way to find out for sure what is going on is to have your dr evaluate the situation further to see what they think is going on.

Are you going through menopause?
It might be a hot flash. =)
But I'm guessing there's nothing to worry about. If it starts to become problematic, or if it is painful, you should see a doctor immediately..
