i broke both bones in my left leg playing footy and had a rod and pins inserted...i had surgery to remove the rod and pins last july.
i started to play footy early this year and done pre season training and i'm now in competion.i have been getting sharp pains in my legs and are constantly sore.the pain started near my ankle but of late the pains are coming from my calf muscles...i think i mite have blood clots but not realie sure cause i'm a fit guy i dont no what the problem could be?

The only way to know for sure what is going on (even though yes clots could be one possibility) is to get in to your dr to have them evaluate the situation further to see what they think is causing this pain.

Go to your doctor! He/She will you give you the best advice.

From your description it sounds like cramp of you calf muscles. To stop cramp you need to drink plenty or water, have a healthy amount of salt and potassium (bananas are helpful for this). Also make sure you are warming up and cooling down properly.
