ive been having pain in my right flan kand i do have a uti what might this be a kidney stone developing or something as ive been told it hurts moderately and is in my right flank about 4 inches above my hip bone

Yes, it could be a kidney stone. I would recommend getting back in touch with your dr to have them evaluate the situation further.
I was told in 2004 that I had a kidney stone in my left ureter when a CT Scan was done of my abdomen and pelvis.

it can be a small stone, travelling down your ureter.. try to strain your urine with a strainer, you may be able to pass dat out.. have your urine checked, you may be having UTI already from the stone that is impacted over time at the ureter.. lastly consult a urologist for professional help.. gud luck!
