Most likely, your kitten is looking for attention. He or she doesn't understand why you want to sleep during the prime play time (cats are nocturnal). Either that, or he/she is trying to groom you as part of a bedtime routine. Regardless, you need to teach him/her not to do that. Tell the kitten firmly, "no" and then remove the kitten from the bed. You might also try having a big play session just before bedtime to wear the kitten out.

It could be the kitten looks to you for attention and affection could also be that it was not ready to be taken away from it's mother even tho it was the right age to be given away.

i hope my cat does that..mine was really sweet but sometimes he's a bit stubborn.when i sleep and i wanted him to sleep beside me,but he just walks away..haisst..

well maybe, he's just asking for your attention..my cat was really full of attention maybe that's why he becomes annoyed when im playing with him.hehe
