As a matter of fact, it is. I read that in Israel, it is being produced now without all of the preservatives.
As a matter of taste, well, it all tastes about the same, but the differences arise from the local water and the sweeteners used.

Yes. Mexican Coke, for example, is causing some problems because many American consumers are starting to buy it instead of American Coke. The difference? Mexican Coke uses cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup, which American retailers switched to in the 1980's because of high costs. Since the company that makes Mexican Coke is a Mexican company that franchises the brand name, American Coke is trying to block the import because they don't profit from its sale. I believe the only difference is in sweeteners, but there could be other differences in other countries.

Yes, each country has the coca cola factory. They all have the same ingredients, but each country probably uses different doses of the same sirup, so Coke can be sweeter in Spain and less Sweet in Italy.

I have heard that Stevia, a natural, non caloric sweetener is used in some Asian countries for the diet Coke.

Yes.
In the US it is sweetened with high fructose corn syrup. But I have seen a website selling Mexican Coke to the US because it is sweetened with sugar instead.

No. They use a recipe and follow it in any country where it is produced. To alter the recipe would be to ruin their product and reputation.
