1 mg = 1000 microgram
1 L = 1000 mL
so actually mg/L = microgram/ml
so if u have 2 mg/L it is equal to 2 microgram/mL
because u have divided both units by 1000, so it doesnt make any difference...

Since a microgram is one one thousandth of a milligram and a milliliter is one one thousandth of a liter, the conversion is 1000 divided by 1000, which is one. Put a "c" between the m and g of mg, add an "m" before the L, and there you have it.

They are same.

1mg/l is same as 1 microgram / ml

When we divide both the numerator and the denominator by 1000, the result remains same.

You will get the same answer... thats all.. there is actually a method

the full way is to multiply by 1000microgram/1mg and then multiply it with 1L/1000mL..

since both are multiplied and then divided by 1000.. it makes not differences...
