Does inhalation of lead ions counts as nutritional? because isn't that how most lead poisoning occurs; like through dust and fumes?

I know you can get lead in food which can cause lead poisoning, but is that common enough to make it a nutritional disease?

It depends on how you're getting the lead.

Little kids will chew on their cribs. If they've been painted with lead-based paint, that's an environmental disease. If you inhale the fumes from a car that's using tetra-ethyl lead in its gasoline, that's an environmental disease.

At least some lead-based compounds are sweet. If someone were to discover a plant that is sweet out of proportion to its sugar content, dieters would madly rush to add it to their coffee, etc., but if the sweetness were lead-based, that would be a nutritional disease. (Stevia? I don't know.)

If you are being fed lead by your wife, because she believes marriage should be for life, not ended quickly by a divorce, that would be a nutritional disease.

It is first an environmental and later a nutritional issue. Lead is not a common ingredient of food and so any intake of lead is due to environmental contamination.

Once lead enters your system, you have a nutritional problem, that is how to eliminate it.
