LA has more crime because it has a much larger population than Dallas. All crime is bad and it is ruining the USA and other nations.

Well, I found this handy lil' web calculator that compares crime rates for 2 locations using FBI data.

Guess What?
Dallas, TX and Los Angeles, CA are just about equal.
They both score a 7 out of 10 for violent crime (10 being more crime, 1 being the least). Los Angeles only rates a 6 though for property crime, while Dallas comes up with a 7 there as well.

Hope this helps.

There are crimes everywhere in the USA. Its been proven that many of them never get reported or get down graded to less offensive charges. In certain areas, crimes stats get changed all the time to make things look better than they really are.

I live just outside of Dallas. We have all that we can handle. Our police are underpaid, (Thanks Laura Miller), and there is no incentive to join the DPD. I hope our crime never gets any worse.
