I do yoga as the best and closest form to meditation! It helps quiet your mind and soothe your body through a good workout.

I use a form of meditation that is very easy, you simply listen to sounds through a headset and these sounds bring you to the state of meditation that normally would take years to achieve.
I've had very good success with this and after a year I have found that I can meditate even without the sounds, effectively.
Meditation has brought me so much relief in my life, both physically and mentally, I recommend you continue on your search for the best style of meditation for you.
The link below is the style I have chosen, if you are interested, have a read through the information, I found it very informative and, for myself, all the claims made have come true.

There could be many but the best meditation is just observe your breath. Or go on repeating a mantra of your choice silently.
