Peggy is correct, and sadly the chemical attraction tends to wear off in 2-4 years. Which means for a relationship to fruitfully last the bonding should be based on strong connections. Which for me stem from respect, communication and honesty.

Well your brain has something known as the limbic system. It basically is the reason why we have feeling and emotion. It is connected to various structures in our brain, such as the thalamus and the prefrontal lobe. The thalumus is the central network of our brain. The prefrontal lobe is able to control our emotions. Chemicals such as hormones can also have an effect. Our hypothalumus which is connected to our petuitary gland releases certain hormones that can affect our feelings and behavior. Although this is the mechanics, love can be desribed in many ways, especially through our cognition.

This is a good question!! I think that all mammals are capable of love on a certain level. Love is certainly and emotion, but I think that emotions are also built in. Therefore my answer is...love is both emotional and scientific.

it's emotional. like all emotions, love is just temporary. i've been around too many divorces and break ups. there is no such thing as a happy ending, just stories that haven't finished yet.

It has no true definition; it's all subjective. Btw, emotions are a science themselves.
