I completely forgot about them in the bottom of my grocery bag and they were left out at room temperature for a little over three hours. Am I being paranoid or might they be spoiled? They contain no nitrates which I assume are preservatives if this makes a difference. Thanks!

I would not take that chance. If you do, at least make sure every part of the reheated food is at least 180 degrees Fahrenheit. Even then, with poultry and cream cheese... I still wouldn't recommend it. Food poisoning is horrible. And potentially deadly.

Chicken sausage is rarely sold uncooked. They should already be cooked and there is little to no chance of salmonella.

With normal packaging they should be okay.

If they don't smell right when you cook them don't eat them.

they're fine. Either cook them, or refrigerate or freeze them right away though.
