Wait patiently... the pro-spankers will now tell you why that was right, and if the child really was confused, she should have spanked him again. It is effective, after all..... :P
I think I'm grumpy. I better log off.

The thing that worries me about hitting in public, is who knows how much harder that slap would be at home?
I do believe in the occasional spanking, but not for something dumb, and not in a public place. It makes the parent look bad, and embarasses the kid.

It's ok. Children just don't listen. Now you tell them don't hit, next time they hit again. The child sibling next time will hit back and this is how children grown up.

At least they know hitting does hurt the other.
Why even post their buisness on here.
Im sure pleanty of parents have done that before. My sister has with her two and they learned from it and my other well she has four boys, so i dont know how she works it all.
Would never baby sit for her even if im paid to, lol
The kid knew they did something wrong and was corrected.

Not at all.Kids are smart enough to know what matters to them.Ask a child to share his chocolate with you and the most likely answer could be a' No' and in answer to a 'why',it may be that chocos are BAD for teeth[your's].

sure that one is dumb! how can her child obey her when she herself do what she wants her child not to do? a good leader is a good follower right? to be an effective teacher, you should set as a good model and show your students what you want them to learn by doing it yourself.
