Christians have always held Jews responsible for the death of Jesus, yet Jesus prophesized that Gentiles would kill him in Mark 10:33-34 "And they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles. And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him:...." And Matthew 20:19 "And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him:...." Doesn't that mean that the Christians themselves have shown Jesus to be a false prophet?

You are confusing "The Church" with "Christians".

Look up "the council of Toledo", to find info on how the Church has treated Jews-

This is two questions.
No I don't hold Jews responsible for the death of Jesus.

The person who Authorised the Crucifixion was ultimately pontoons Pilot, who was a gentile, the Romans crucified him, spat on him, mocked him (the Romans gave him a crown of thorns- the Romans put up the sign King of the Jews, the Jews were upset about that). IT was mainly the evidence that the Sadducee's and pharisees gave that caused that, as well as the public choosing to save Barabbas over Jesus.

So people who hold the Jews responsible... are holding them accountable for the evidence and guilt they proclaimed. (Really this has little or no bearing today though, Jesus needed to die for our sins.)

We all have to remember that God allowed it so we could be saved, he used people to achieve this...

I don't know any Christians who think that the Jews were to be held as guilty for the death of Jesus. Zero.

So I have no idea who you have met, but I do not find it typical from where I live.

(Sigh..) I do wish you would try and understand what you read. The jews turned Jesus over to Pilot (the gentiles) who told them "this man has done nothing wrong". At the jewish leaders insistance, Pilot ordered the crucifiction, but said he then washed his hands of the whole affair.

He didn't prophesies differently....He said his own people would reject him and that's what happened. The priest were responsible and the ppl were Jewish...what do you want???....they weren't Buddhist or ppl who worshiped balaam....call it like it is. The Bible does.

But he died for all of us not just the jews. If that was the case then the 10 commandments wouldn't apply to us non jews. If that was the case all non jews would be lost and wouldn't have a chance to go to haven.

AM I racist against jews b/c of that....no
Am I racist against whites b/c of slavery....no

If your statement were TRUE, the Romans, Christians, Catholics, and Jews would not have killed MILLIIONS of the TRUE disciples of Jesus THEN taken over most everything written about him and "rewrote" everything to be connected to Judaism. JESUS was NOT the JEWISH messiah, but was put to death for BLASPHEMY for stating he was the Son of God, but not just ANY God, but the Lord of Creation. The REAL one written about in the EGYPTIAN faith and not the Jewish IMPOSTER. In 2600 b.c an egyptian priest (Nu) gave a prophesy that a divine babe would one day be born of "God." THEIR "God" Atum-Re, whose name later became Amen-Ra in the New Kingdom of Egyptian dynasties. EVERYTHING you get in "christianity" is a FRAUD perpetrated by the Roman Empire through the church of THEIR creation. Roman Catholicism. The "roots" of ALL JUDEO-CHRISTIAN DOCTRINES............

I guess he was just the lowest chick in the pecking order, wasn't he.

The Jews turned on JC in the last hour and allowed him to be arrested and tortured and slain by the Romans. But what the heck, eh? He was a nutter anyhow - thought he was the son of god.

The story of Jesus, in deed the character, probably isn't accurate or factual to begin with. It's just bible BS.

Christians do not blame Jews only for the death of Jesus. ALL of mankind is to be blamed, that is every person to ever walk the face of the Earth save Jesus alone, is responsible for the death of Jesus.
