You may need your medication adjusted or there may be an underlying problem you are not aware of. Be sure to limit your salt intake, stay hydrated and elevate your feet periodically throughout the day. Make an appointment with your doctor asap and keep it.

It's either your blood pressure or arthritis. If it's your BP your doctor will give you a water pill to take with your BP meds. If it's arthritis he will give you something like Celebrex for the swelling. With warm weather sometimes things tend to swell a lot. Good luck.

i believe its high blood pressure. you need to elevate your feet higher than your waist, and take some mortrin *ibprofen*. That'll help. Mine swell like that because i dont get much circulation when i sleep. Its weird. But go to the doctor, just to be safe.

Try to raise your legs up when you are sitting down or laying down by using a pillow.

If there is water retention, try not to drink too much of water and reduce your salt intake. (water retention - press your flesh at the feet to see if it bounces up immediately, if it does it is ok, if not there is water retention).

when you see your doctor ask him/her for a diuretic (water pill ) so that you can get rid of the swelling.....i had the same problem less than 1 month ago and he prescribed lasix (furosemide) 80mg twice a day....and that took care of the problem right away.

You might be retaining fluids. Your doctor can explain it far better than anyone here can.
