i know this sounds stupid but how do i even out the tanned forearms and the white chest and stomach?
without going to a salon or using those tanning color thingies

You don't. You're going to have to take off the shirt, or go to a tanning salon or use a self-tanner. Or stay reclusive and never go outside to let the tan wear out. Then you can be ghost white instead. You can't just magically even out your tan by will. Sorry. I have bad tan-lines too. It sucks.

Okay, there is no other way to get it done then...
Maybe you could get your friends or someone you enjoy hanging out with to hang out with you at the beach every weekend... So you can enjoy your weekend and at the same time get a beautiful tan..! I would love to do that every weekend if i live near a beach... =(
Beer and beaches... Thats life... lolz!
Remember to apply lots of sun tanning oil!! To prevent getting burns and protect your skin against the terrible terrible UV..!

Self tanner! they have some great ones out now that will gradually tan your skin. The L'oreal sublime line, Bath & Body works Breathe line, & Jergens natural glow are all great self tanners. Make sure to exfoliate before you apply for the 1st time. Hth.

There's some dietary supplements you can buy at a health food store that are supposedly safe and will give your skin a tan-like color.
