How did it come about that we have people that are Chinese, Swedish, Indian, and others of diffferent color? Just one of the ?'s for God when we get to heaven.

Man started off in Africa and traveled. Those who traveled to colder climates grew fairer skin and longer noses to warm the air before it hit their brain. People in warmer climates have shorter noses, etc. Darker skin isn't as sensitive to the sun, etc. etc.
Features are determined by the climate where we live.
Natually each group in an area would develop its own language and culture.

You do realize that humanity has built a whole load of buildings that are taller than the tower of Babel could have been?
We have launched rockets into the heavens and man has walked on the moon.
Yet your god has totally failed to turn up to destroy the buildings and rockets, or to confuse the languages again. Why is that?
Have you considered that this is just a story. A myth concocted to explain why there are so many different languages?
Do you know that there are continuous records in multiple languages that go back to a date before the tower of Babel myth, and even the flood myth? How do you explain that?

Discarding the Tower of Babel myth and learning something about historical linguistics might help.
