Although they are a cult, they are not the prophetic description of the anti-Christ. Scripture clearly describes who the anti-Christ is, what he is, and what he will do. That is the prophecy. We don't deviate from the prophecies, no matter how crazy some person or organization looks.

No I don't believe Scientology is the Antichrist and I am a Christian. But I do agree with you that they do have an unfortunate unlimited amount of power that they hold over government agencies and Private companies and individuals. Scientology like many cults are very dangerous and we need to be wary of their members who are regularly told to disseminate and recruit new members.

I used to be in Scientology so I know the latter to be true. This may sound crazy, but I used to wish that Scientology members had this skull and crossbones branded on their foreheads so that people would instantly stay away from them. Crazy, huh?

I don't think that anymore though, because I've grown and matured and have learned to have a more rational attitude toward them and any cult for that matter. Any cult is dangerous and they warrant a very wide space between the nonscientologist and their so called church.

nope.
if you read all about what exactly classifies as antichrist in the biblical terms, you'll see that the scientologists are just normal people with a different way of looking at things that some other christian denominations.
I'm Buddhist, and an ex-christian, and i've studied the antichrist and the bible quite a few times, and if you do you'll really understand who the true antichrists are (note: it isn't the athiests or agnostics or buddhists- it is within the christian denominations)

hope this helps- do some research on your own, but dont use google- they dont have as much info on science and religion as altavista.com and the yahoo search engine.

never really thought about it...interesting question though. I kinda think the antichrist will be one person with an insane amount of power, but someone a whole lot of people like. There are quite a few people that don't like scientology, so I doubt it.

You mean other than the fact that L.Ron called himself the anti christ for awhile? Not necessarily. I think it is a money making machine that has enticed those who are in need of an ego boost and are searching for something spiritual without something godly.

Only is California. No I don't think that they are the anti-Christ. They are crazy off the wall and the founder was severely mentally ill and his teacher was a very evil man.

Not sure about the group as a whole but I do have some lingering questions about Tom Cruise...

Some of his movies are definitely hellish...

I believe that religions can demonize anything they perceive as a threat to their silly superstition. Most insipid religions spend time trashing other religions to keep their adherents too busy to question the validity of their own religion.
