i got grounded because i was talkin on a myspace chatroom and my mom thought i was talkin to some guy i didnt know..so now im grounded from myspace. my mom says that ill only be ungrounded if i show her im mature enough to handle myspace. she wont tell me how long itll take..so what is something i can do to make my grounding last for a shorter time?

Stay away from the computer for a while. Show her that the internet isn't all that important your life.- Do your chores if you have any, and spend some quality time with your mother as well.
Other solution is to ask her if you could devise a plan on some rules for myspace and the internet.

Mature faster than you have up to this point. Were you talking with some guy you don't know? Come on, you know how dangerous that is, so why would you want to put your mom in the position of worrying about you and having to ground you. Stop making excuses for your behavior and own up to it and get smarter. Once you lose trust its almost impossible to get back.
