Easy one. You can live like a king in Vietnam. The banks here pay 10% interest. You can buy a house for under $30,000. A really nice house. Put the 200 in several banks in a couple of different countries. The $1500 a month that you will make in interest will be more than enouth to eat every meal at a good restaurant, join the beach club, have as many drinks as you want to have every day. and travel when you wish to. I know this for a fact. I am doing it myself. And love the life. I am living in Hoian Vietnam, a small river village in the middle of the coast line. The beach is white sands and 40 k's long. beautiful. if you don't freak out and give your money to some bar girl you can live very well for the rest of your life and never work a day. Just live in Cebu, Philippines. Buy a cheap land near the beach. You can build a house for 20,000 dollars. 30-40 USD per month for maids or any kind of helpers to clean your place and help you in everything. A can of cola for only 20 cents? Sounds nice? Hmm.... I now know what youre thinking. By the way, crime rate in that island is low too. The rest, get a boat and do island hopping as much as you want. Enjoy!

Indonesia.. definitely be a billionaire or even more.. you can try Medan ( agricultural capital of indonesia.. produces palm oil ) cos there you can rent a 3 bedroom house for US$120 per year.. yeah u read that right.. a year.. so a quarter of a million will go a long long way there

In America, if you live below your means and make sound investments. But I suspect you don't want to do that.
From my experience, Thailand is far and away the cheapest, most beautiful place to be. I lived like a king on the beach in Phuket for a month... on about $500. It's dirt cheap and amazing. I'm not sure if you could take up permanent residence, though. You might want to do some digging around on escapeartist.com

you buy the land,invest in housing development and sale.or make public place like theme park, beach or snow house. make more income than that.
