I don't think there's a non-hurting way to reject a guy. Either way, you are gonna break his heart. Just be honest and tell him you guys will be better off as friend. Say he's a nice guy but he's not the one you are are looking for. All those angelic stuffs, you know and hope he'll take it the nice way. Good luck!

Honesty is what matters the most. dont come right out and lie. Honesty is better then lying its better to be honest then untruthful.and be gentle let him down slow. but he will be ok he will find someone else it wont be end of the world. theres plenty of fish in the sea for everyone.

Tell him honestly... Don't waste time thinking of putting up a wonderful story. And offer him that the 2 of you can still be JUST friends.

there's never an easy way to tell someone you only like them as a friend or you don't even like them at all.
you have to be honest but not cruel. remember they have feelings also.
just say...i would prefer if we were just friends

Don't say "just friends" or hope he gets a hint. Be 100% upfront and say "You are not my type and there is no chemistry." Then smile and say thanks and move on. Worst thing you can do is to be afraid to hurt him and then give mixed signals or even give him a shred of hope.

just tell him that you liked him more when you were just friends. that way you will be over but if you realize that you like im he will still like you
