Hi ugg buddy, Here are ways to lose weight fast submitted by regular people as comments on various blogs or articles on line. Avoid fried meat, eat only grilled or boiled meat like steak and chicken Use a lot of spices to make it even better. Give up the soda. If you drink a soda or two every day you are adding empty calories. If you find it hard to stop completely, cut back at first and drink water instead. (Note that the average person adds 90,000 calories a year from drinking juice or soda. WOW! That's a great tip.) Don't buy junk food. Shop according to a list. If you don't have junk food at home you won't eat it. Give yourself a treat. When you can't eat something you end up craving it more, and eventually binging. Enjoy a treat once a week, or even once a day in smaller quantities. Don't go crazy, keep it in moderation. Use a smaller plate to trick yourself into thinking you're eating more than you really are. (Not only are you tricking yourself, even if the trick doesn't work it's easier to stop eating when the plate is empty and there's no more food available.) Get poor. Gamble away your money so you can't afford food. (Um, no. That's a bad idea.) Stay away from fad diets. They starve you and then you eat more when the diet is over. Do exercise many times a day. If you're watching television, do some push ups or crunches. (That's a great idea to increase caloric burn.) Measure your food. If you have junk food make sure to measure and control the portion. (Portion control is a big part of a healthy diet. Most restaurants and even people at home serve portions that are too large.) Get really sick. After a month in the hospital I had lost 25 pounds. (Another bad idea. It's best to stick to ways to lose weight while remaining healthy. After all, the ultimate goal is better health.) Create good eating habits through repetition. (It's said that if we repeat something 21 times it becomes a habit. Sometimes the number is different, but the idea is the same. Will power is only needed to repeat something enough times for it to become a habit.) Eat slower. The body doesn't feel full as fast as you can eat, so people tend to eat beyond full. These are all great tips from regular people just like us. Most of them also happen to be common advice given by experts in safe weight loss. So ways to lose weight fast do exist, and they're not something only doctors can know. Hope you find the above tips useful, good luck! :-))

Walk 30 minutes a day, with one pound hand weights, and ankle weights.

Cut out all sugars- sodas, and candy. No waffals, pancakes, cakes, cookies, Orange Juice (juice of any kind), brownies, none of the kinda stuff.

Eat a good breakfest- eggs, oatmeal, milk, whatever thats health.

Have two light lunches- a couple hours a part, leave the table feeling like you could eat just a little more.

Dinner- salad, fish, veggies, no beef (to heavy). And don't eat within three hours of bed time.

If you want to munch on something have a glass of water, wait twenty minutes, do a dozen push ups, a few crunches, and then have the snack- with water.

Keep in mind that losing more then about 3 poounds a week is only water weight, you need to build some muscle (not a lot, just a little).

Stay limber- learn Yoga, stretch a lot.

Ask someone to help you do this, its not easy. Good luck.

First of all, your BMI is actually just fine. I know it may not feel like that at 14, but it is true. At 115 you would be quite underweight.

That being said, what you probably need to do to look good in a bikini is not to lose 30 lbs, but maybe lose 10 lbs. of fat and add 10 lbs. of muscle (which would be a net loss of nothing by the way). Don't get hung up on what the scale says. You can go down a size or two in jeans and sculpt your body without losing much weight at all. You need to build muscle because that is what gives your body the firmness that it needs to look great in a bikini. The best way to do that is to eat healthy and exercise. If you starve yourself, you may loose some weight, but you won't tone your tummy or butt or thighs so you will probably still feel flabby. Also as soon as you start eating again you will gain back all the weight and more. When you starve yourself you are basically telling your body that there is a famine in your village and so it better start holding on to all the fat it can so you don't starve to death. It also burns up your muscle for energy (leaving you weak and un-toned) and you shut off your metabolism. Try eating according to the new food pyramid and eat small frequent meals instead of three big ones. This gives your body the message that there is plenty of food available so your metabolism burns stuff faster. As far as working out, sounds like you will want to do some inner and outer thigh exercises, cardio, situps, etc. Here is a good website that gives you exercise ideas as well as diet ideas that are both healthy for you and effective.

Much as we all wish, there is no easy and quick way to a hot bod, but this stuff listed above will get you where you want to be as fast as humanly possible without sacrificing your health.
On a side note, it is much easier to get a good grade in gym swimming in a one piece because you don't have to constantly worry about your top coming off. If you really want a bikini, there are some super cute bikini with skirt or boyshort bottoms at http://www.speedousa.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/products.browse/categoryID/6c55256a-402d-4e1b-9b96-211c50a45efd/
that can help disguise big butts and hips.

Oh my goodness! What are you worrying about? I calculated your BMI and it's 22. That is a normal BMI! You're not fat! Your ideal body weight is 140 plus or minus 10% meaning that you should weigh between 126 and 154, which you are already in that range.

You need to eat! This goes for everybody regardless if you're dieting or not. Do not starve yourself! When you starve yourself, your metabolism actually slows down and so if you were to quit and go back to normal eating habits, you will gain all your weight back and possibly more. It's very dangerous to starve yourself like you're doing. Your body will go through a lot of unhealthy changes besides your slowing metabolism. For one thing, if you aren't eating much (eating less than 1,000 calories a day), you will definately be lacking essential nutrients (carbs, protein, fat, vitamins, minerals, and enough fluids) you need in order to be healthy. You can't possibly be getting enough carbs (your body's preferred and required source of energy- your brain and red blood cells REQUIRE carbs to function) the way you are eating. When you don't eat enough carbs, your body goes into what is called Ketosis and you can get constipated (because fiber comes from carb foods). There's other consequences too but I can't state them all on here. I won't go into the whole science on Ketosis but basically it results in a drop in your body's pH (becomes more acidic) and you get bad breath. Not desireable at all!

Anyway, I won't keep lecturing you on what happens when you don't eat because there's a whole long list of possibilites. I will tell you though to just exercise and eat healthy (use common sense) so you don't have to worry about eventually gaining weight when you get older. Like I said, right now you're at a good weight and you should keep it where you are. If you still need help, email me. The last thing you want is to end up with an eating disorder because most people with eating disorders usually end up where they are because they simply wanted to diet but they took the wrong method of dieting.

By the way, I forgot to tell you (and anyone else out there), no matter who you are, never ever eat less than 1,000 calories a day (unless directed by a medical professional in rare cases)! That is not healthy.

slow down with it right now. first off, tell someone like your family so they're aware. make sure that there isn't much junk food available to you. Don't skip meals, it's unhealthy and you do it because you're lazy and won't commit. so far though you've got a good plan. If running kind of hurts, try some swimming and biking for exercise a couple times a week. actually running in water is great cardio. don't snack so you don;t eat extra food. do other things to keep it off your mind. Just eat a little less than you're used to to shrink the stomach and eventually the apetite.

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

15 to 20 pounds is a lot for one month. Most times when you lose weight this fast you gain it just as quickly because your body never has the time to adapt.
Either way, the best way is to cut down the calories and get some exercise. Do good cardio [like running] and pilates [they're great for specific areas of the body].
Good luck.

First of all, it's DEFINATELY not healthy to be starving yourself like that! Dieting is all about choosing better options and proportions put together with excercise! The basic principle is if you're burning off more than you're taking in you should start to loose weight. Focus more on eating smaller proportions and choosing healthier meals and PLEASE, stop starving yourself! By doing that you're doing more harm to your body than anything else! Remember- a good diet + a good excercise plan = not only a healthy body, but a great looking one too! Good luck!

Eat a balanced diet, tons of fruits & veggies. Limit sweets, and soda. Not eating will not help, you need food to get energy. Start exersice, running, walking, somthing cardio, you are young so it should start shedding pretty fast. Get into these good habits now and you will be glad when your older! GOOD LUCK!!
