My ex was incredibly sweet to by but is a total rebel in school. He really, really liked me and would always talk to me. He asked me out a lot and one day I said yes because I thought I owed him that much. The second day that I was going out with he smacked my butt. We were at lunch and I gave him a hug and while we were hugging he felt down my back and to my butt. i'm only 13 but was I wrong for breaking up with him or should I have given him more of a chance?

sweetheart hes a guy ....if your going to break up wit every guy that does that to you then your never going to hold a bf sorry to say it.. but im 14 and i just deal with it.....tell him how you feel about and tell him your very uncomfertoble wit it and give another chance but dont break up wit him right off the bat

No you were not wrong. You were wrong for saying yes to being his girlfriend in the first place. Never ever go out with someone because you think "you owe him that much." Seems like you didn't really like the guy and were just looking for an easy way out. Of course, I do believe that at 13 nobody should be grabbing your butt. But if you really liked him and were more mature then you would have talked to him about it. Then if he did it again you would have been just in breaking off the relationship.

Relationships are about communication. If you don't like having your butt smacked, tell him, I don't like having my butt smacked. If he did that again, and you said you didn't like it, it means he is too immature to communicate, which means good riddance. In the future, when you have important things to you, he will only think of himself and you will cry and have very big problems. So, if he can't communicate, get rid of him, because you will have a nasty break up otherwise.
If he can't communicate, it means he is still a boy and shows no signs of being a man. If he is still a mama's boy, he should stay with mama and stay out of relationships.
If you EVER tell a guy you don't like something and they continue, you have every right to break up and avoid them and should do that before things go bad.
Rebel? Sounds like he cares about himself, rebeling and girls more than he cares about you as a person if you say no and he does that anyway. The difference between a man and a boy is a man cares about you, and a boy only cares about their self and their pleasure. Boys are a waste of time and a heart break.

Well, I think you did the right thing. Not necessarily because of the groping, but because 13 is really too young to be in a relationship. People don't say that just to keep you from having fun . . . they do it because they know better than you do. After all, we were all 13 once . . . . Good night!

Well... how did it make you feel when he did that? Did you talk to him about it (before breaking up with him)? If you talked to him, and he dis-respected your wishes then you were right for breaking up with him. Do you still like him? Only you know how you feel about him and if you can accept his behaviour then maybe you could've given him more of a chance. If you're 13... then how old was he?
