Moises, just in case you didn't realize this, the people you used as sources claim to be Christian, they CLEARLY are agents of Satan.
Look at what they promoted....WAR!

So, Jesus didn't approve of martyrs?....Hmm...
He must want people to kill in His name.
I'm not so sure that I'll buy THAT one.

Dear the walkin dude,

A true Christian will definitely die for their beliefs - in fact the Bible has shown this through the ways most of the apostles died (as martyrs) and the many verses that teach about persevering through persecution. It is actually quite common in foreign countries.

In terms of Moises answer. People aren't "killing for their beliefs". Although not ideal- there are times that war is necessary- the great theologian Bonhoeffer was part of a "koo" to execute Hitler because he was such an agent of evil. i believe that if we are in the army or a police officer caught in a war or a situation of such- we may have to kill. But it would be an unjoyful thing and you wouldn't be saying you're killing for your beliefs - so that doesn't justify things like terrorist acts, etc.

Ultimately government and individuals in government must answer to God for the way they handle their responsibility.

Would i kill someone if they robbed my house and tried to kill my family- i'm not sure actually. But i know that my purpose is to try to love and bring life to people and not to take away life.

Hope that helps. Kindly,

Nickster

Since Jesus died for us and now lives on, we live in the Age of Grace where we are to love others and not take vengence out on them. We are to forgive as Jesus forgave us. So, in ans to your ques: True Christians would die for their beliefs if it meant denounce Our Savior. But we are not to kill anyone for our beliefs. God bless
