Hi ;] The King James version of the Bible was translated from the earliest copies of Hebrew and Greek scripture and has the most accurate translation of ancient scriptures. The New King James version of the Bible is a little easier to read, and is quite accruate.

Stay away from any Bible that has books other than the New Testament and the Old Testament. When God was finished with the New Testament he was done sending Divine Revelation, and He tells us so in Revelation 22:18-19:

"I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book."

Hi i think the Life Application Bible is wonderful. It has a lot of charts and biographies about individual Bible characters.

Plus it's usually on sale at Costco.

Hope that helps. God Bless You. Kindly,

Nickster
