If your fire ants are having problems biting, you can.... OOOHHH! Nevermind.
But really, if your bites have turned to little bumps like blisters, don't pop 'em. I know this sounds crazy but get a dog to lick 'em. If you don't have a dog, use caladryl or calamine lotion. I would also use some .1% hydrocortisone cream or ointment. Use this before the caladryl and let it soak in and dry a while. My son was eaten up by those da*n things a few days ago. He let a dog lick on them a few times and they started drying up much quicker than not. Look at the bright side, you are in Texas. I really miss it. Good luck. Hope they feel better.

Toothpaste helps a lot. Don't scratch that will make it worse. Apply it and let it dry later when you bathe you can wash it off. Also baking soda mixed with water helps.

Calamine Lotion. Keeps down swelling, stops irritation and you can find it at the store.
