What kind of surgery is there for head scars and cost of such procedure?

I have two scars on my head one the size of a nickel and one the size of a quarter (diameter and depth). I am wondering what kind of surgery there is to fix this because I hate how I have to grow my hair out to cover them. I don't want a full hair transplant, and it has got me thinking. Are these scars small enough to maybe cut the spots out and sew the skin back together maybe leaving only scars from stictching or are the spots too big to do such a procedure?

I'm not sure about surgery but laser scar treatment worked for me.
