I see a lot a atheists mocking religious belief, and the idea that the world is created. Do they understand that we too mock them. As an Oxford Professor said, to say the universe happened by chance is like saying a tornado can go through a scrap yard and put together a boeing 747 (in fact this is the probability of just one strand of dna)

You laugh at me for believing the universe was created? (not the christian 6days/6000 years old creation). Let me just affirm to you that so do I mock you for your mocking.

Actually atheists rarely mock others..
Its the christians who mock all others who believe (or not) differently than they. (including other christians).

Christians are among the most hypocritical of all peoples.

Let me assure you, no one 'mocks' you for believing the universe or anything else was created.

In fact, all that is asked is to PROVE that the God of Abraham (or any other characterization of a 'God') exists, that the bible, koran, or other religious tome is somehow factual, etc.

No one knows if all we see, have and experience is a creation, an accident, or even a dream some other life-form is having.

I've never met an atheist (although I'm not one) who 'mocked' anyone. The concept is that not ONE religionist has even ONE shred of proof for the house of fantasy and lies fabricated to support the racket that many lives, trillions of dollars, and DECISIONS are devoted to on a day in, day out basis in a time when we have all the tools necessary to prove the assumptions and beliefs in these deities completely baseless and without merit.

Remember this: universe created or accidental, Abraham was a schizophrenic who tried to murder his son, and his 'god' was a creation of his fevered brain that resembled himself, not the other way around.

So, 'mock' with that a while, won't you?

People mock and make fun of the unfamiliar. I am a huge fan of Darwin so I , on occasion , mock creationists. I am also a Catholic who disagrees with the church so I mock the church, but also mock those who do not believe in any god what so ever. My views tend to mimic those I spend time with on a regular basis so it is very normal for me.

You only mock atheists and evolutionists because you dont believe what they believe. Ironically thats the same reason they mock you.

PS: I am not taking a side in the debate, merely pointing out that we all mock each other all the time.

To each his own. I as an atheists believe in a basic common way of living. I do not knock people who believe in a higher power. I do believe that I will treat people the way they treat me....In other words don't preach too me, don't tell me I'm going too hell because I don't believe as you do. Let me live my life my way and you can live yours your way. Which ever way the universe was created I don't care but I do know that I live and some day I will die. In that time of life and death I wish peace upon all people no matter what gender race or religion...And as your christian believe says.....Turn the other cheek.and stop being a hypocrite

People also used to mock the man who said that the human race would fly. Look how many planes we have now.

Yes, I know. I was an "out" atheist in an extremely Catholic high school. I was mocked every day. I know that theists mock atheists.

Do theists know that atheists don't care even a little bit about the opinions of morons? Go ahead, mock us. I'm sure your tiny little god will jump for joy.

hello:
Prior to becoming a "Christian", I was a staunch Atheist. Because I now, know the "whys" and "where fores" of why I was an Atheist and not a Christian at the time, lends it self to be both, tolerant and merciful to all atheists. You are forgetting one thing. It is God, the Father, who draws whom He will to Himself and it is not a humanistic "joining" the Christian faith. (See: John, chapter 6, verse 44).
