In the Game can you drive your own car down pit road and under cautions an does other competitors wreck frequently too? What are some other great features about the game?

Nascar Racing 2003 Season is the best Nascar simulator out there. The physics are the most realistic, setting up the car is more advanced, and there are tons of mods out on the web for the game. Everything from current Nascar paint schemes, fantasy cars and tracks, historic cars, even mods to race indy cars. Plus there are many online racing sites to test your skills against others. And this game doesnt have all the silly gimmicks that the EA games have. And its also setup to use the more advanced wheel/pedal controllers that have a clutch pedal and pattern shifters. Highly recommonded finding a copy, though they are rare.

Yes you control your car at all times, including pit road and cautions. The competitors wreck a relatively realistic amount, however if you're as bad of a driver as I am, you'll be causing enough wrecks on your own to not even notice the AI wrecks. The physics of the game are also ultra-realistic. Don't even bother getting the game if you don't have or don't plan on purchasing a steering wheel.
One of the features that is rather small, but I like is the adaptive AI. You can set up the AI to adjust to your driving ability either after every race or throughout the race. This elps to make sure you stay competitive during every race.

Uh? Get NASCAR 2007 or 2008! They are way better!
