I am getting a grren check conure next week..I also wanted to a quacker but the lady sold out on them are there any other birds that are say in the price range of 175.00 that is like a quaker such as personality and beautiful that would get along with a conure....my 2 parakeets and love bird.

I think Quakers are beautiful little birds and have thought about getting one. Are there no other breeders of Quakers in your area? Also, have you checked out the adoption agencies in your area to see if they have a Quaker that needs a home? I found quite a few on petfinder.com in various parts of the country (if you live in the US).

Try checking with local bird breeders for quackers. If you're after a fairly colorful bird that's not too common you might want to try a blue quacker or a yellow quacker. They cost a little more though.

If I were you, I would wait until quakers are available again if I really wanted one. :P
I'm not sure about price range because it depends where you live, but parrots that have a sort of similar personality to quakers are:
* Caique (low-medium noise, poor talker, high cuddliness, high playfulness)
* Cockatiel (low noise, male good talker, high cuddliness, high playfulness)
* Sun Conure (high noise, poor talker, high cuddliness, high playfulness)
