NASCAR is NOT boring. I have been a race face since I was a little girl. When I went to my class reunion, one of the boys came up to me as asked it I was still into racing. If you know what is happening, NASCAR is fascinating. Obviously, you are ignorant to the sport. And, let me assure you that the drivers at real athletes. Anyone who can drive at 150 mph or more for 400 to 500 miles in temperatures of over 100 degrees without a rest, a bathroom break or a snack has to be in top physical condition. Before you say ugly things about NASCAR, you should do some study. You will find that there is a lot to learn and it is very interesting. I consider the statement that NASCAR is boring as a person insult. Where do you get the idea that NASCAR fans watch soccer? I have never watched soccer, but if I did, that would be my business and I would not be a communist. Soccer is big in England and England is not a communist county. Get your facts straight. Some people get involved in golf. To them it is not boring. That's their choice. My grandmother used to say, "Wouldn't it be a boring world if we all thought alike." You must want a boring world where everyone thinks like you do.

Nascar does not suck, it takes a special breed to be a nascar fan. and Nascar stands for:
Nerve wracking
Always exciting
Screaming fans
Can't get enough
Auto
Racing!!!

Just curious why everyone here is so vehemently opposed to NASCAR. I mean, I don't like soccer, but I don't stop what I'm doing to rant and rave about not liking it. What's the point? Can somebody fill me in on why you all apparently take such personal offense to it?
And by the way, all the "it's only watched by hicks" comments are a little redundant. Really spoken like someone who has never actually watched or been to a race and gets all of their information from stereotypes. Real informed.

They are trying to be too corporate and concerned with padding their own pockets. They have done away with their long time sponsor Goody's since they were not large enough. NASCAR is a monopoly, and will eventually get broken up.
Their cars only turn left, 98% of the time. They all look pretty much the same, and I can not buy wone from the local dealership.

NASCAR stands for NATIONAL ASSOSIATION OF STOCK CAR AUTO RACING. get it right next time. NASCAR is not for hillbillies or hicks. If you don't like it, shut up! It is a family sport, and most of the drivers dedicate alot of time making their fans happy and being loyal to their fans. I HIGHLY doubt that any other athletes do that. NASCAR is much more than alot of you people think it is. So maybe you should try watching it for once and stop trash talking it. If you don't like it, who cares?! there are TONS of fans out there. Not to mention there are hundreds of thousands of fans who attend each race. And they are NOT hillbillies. I for one, am not one either.
