Don't you make more then police officers? Plus all that JOB SATISFACTION?
Oh well, if you are serious and you meet the requirements, then sure, but your X-rated screen fame may hurt your chances of err.... UNDERCOVER work and certain promotions.
Just look at Shaquel O'Neil, he's a cop, but he work more as community liaison/spokesperson than actually collaring crooks or doing stake outs.
Just remember in a firefight, not to pull out the wrong GUN!
Good luck Mr. @@@@@@.

NO you cannot become a police officer. Departments do very intensive background checks and psychological testing even before the first 'real' interviews take place.
I would say that you would not pass the psych tests anyway because of poor reasoning and life choices. These tests also detect deception, so say the truth.
You cannot hide from your past and will have to pay the consequences for it. That is a tough life lesson. Anyone who tells you differently, is just placating you. The truth is always best.

i wouldnt count on it when they do background checks everything has to be perfect even things like bad credit, so anything that could tarnish thier image they wont let. Plus consider that too many people already apply so chances are they wont risk you and go for a non porn star. Unless you use this to your advanatage, dont hide it and explain how you have experience in the underworld they might see you fit to go into areas later as sexual abuse and such.

Possible. However, getting police officer jobs is becoming more and more competitive. When police departments are hiring, they usually have many qualified applicants for a relatively small number of openings. Departments usually have the luxury of being able to be very selective about who they hire. Any red flags can hurt your chances of getting hired by some departments.

Well I must admit while I find your question interesting ,I'm also thinking if Id want you to be my partner . Hmmm interesting dynamic here . Being a porn "star" isn't illegal but maybe you might have a little trouble in the morals dept.

in all likelihood. although, getting police officer jobs is turning out to be further and further aggressive. whilst police departments are hiring, they frequently have many qualified applicants for a comparatively small form of openings. Departments frequently have the posh of being waiting to be very selective approximately who they hire. Any pink flags can injury your probabilities of having employed by utilising some departments.

Why not?
Being in porn isn't illegal, unless you were under the age of 18. But image wise, if they know of this past, they may overlook you for promotions due to your "unscrupulous" past. But they will never say that is the reason.

You can. However, it does not look good in background checks. I know of at least three local PDs that have a policy denying anyone employment who was involving in making pornography with the intent to sell it (legally or not). Not the best image PDs are looking for.
Still, it's possible.
