i would like to make about $30 an hour. What kind of job pays that?? Also, not requiring 4yrs of college. for ex. x-ray tech, electrician, mechanic??? i dk, help me out please!!!! thanks

An x-ray tech does not make that much money - but maybe if you specialize in nuclear medicine or radiation therapy.

Try working in the oil field. You would have to break out as a worm, might be difficult finding a driller willing to train you, but the pay is pretty great. Floor hands usually start at around $20.00 - $25.00 per hour in my region (Permian Basin, West Texas, SE NM) Warning: This is a dirty dirty job, and you must be very safety conscience, as it can and is very dangerous if you are not obeying the safety regulations. Experienced workers are very desirable, and you really must be drug-free as most reputable companies do require drug tests. There is a lot of overtime with this type of work, so paychecks are good.

Apprentice in carpentry, plumbing, welding, etc. You won't have to go to college necessarily, but it will take you a few years until you get to the point of making $30 an hour.

I was reading in the Philadelphia Enquier about rail workers (38dollars per hour). If you do not mind constructing skycrapers and are not afraid of heights than this is the profession for you.

You can make more than that if you are in Sales. If you feel that is not for you look into factory work. There are many factory workers who don't have college degrees who make $20,000-30,000 per year. I hope this helps you.
