Why do we know about Angels or demons?

Definitely. We can see billions and billions of other galaxies, all with billions of billions of stars.


I think with a mind that has evolved to cope with complex causial and social relationships.

You appear to be the one limiting your thoughts. Why MUST there be a being that knows Everything? Why cannot answers be unknown until some entity knows them? You are making a huge assumption that the universe (not just the galaxy) was designed.

Man installed god in his own mind when he sought easy answers for things he did not understand. Science has been squeezing god out ever since. Angels and demons again come from the mind of man from his hopes and fears.

If you do not like limited thoughts, you must hate yourself. you limit yourself to the existence of your god. An unknown? God Did It! And you walk away.

God is real. It is a real figment of your imagination and fear. get over it. (And learn to phrase a question properly.)

Now, first of all, I believe the Bible deprived yourself of the capacity to think outside the box... emm, I mean, world. As for myself, I am perfectly capable of thinking outside the b...emmm, world. Second, I am intelligent. An IQ test proves that my IQ is 168 - this is actual proof, contrary to what you believe is proof that God exists, this is black on white. :)

Now, a person's brain has a mere 10% working capacity. It's kind of like a computer's random access memory. Although sometimes when I read your questions, I'm starting to fear that your RAM is completely ruined...

So, you want us to believe that around the edges of the Universe, there is heaven and hell, angels and demons (isn't that a Dan Brown novel?) and God, overlooking us all. - He must have some telescope... yes, I was being sarcastic.

You ask people to think, but you don't give any proof to support your statement that "God is real" - you just hope we come to the same conclusion by thinking hard. Fact is, that thinking hard would make anyone come to the opposite conclusion.

I'd suggest read up on some astronomy (I hear Stephen Hawking is good for that) to actually understand the Universe better.

LOL And as I have stated many time we have found evidence of dinosaurs from eons ago but nothing to support what the Bible says! Now let me hear your retort to that! Once again there is no proof of any god! Then again maybe human being have always been! LOL

Are you asking if I think that there are intelligent life forms living on planets out side of this galaxy?
I can not rule out the possibility. I also believe in God there for why would it be such a impossibility that an all knowing omnipresent God would also create life else where? I don't have a problem with the idea.

In response to several comments implying that Atheists have no proof against God, I would like to also state you have no proof of God yourself, so saying that to prove your right just proves you wrong in another sense. There has to be something out of our galaxy the sheer number of galaxies and planets is purely mind boggling, but this does not mean a higher power is responsible. As for why do we know about Angels and Demons, I can make up stories just as anyone can. The Bible was writtne by people not made by God, therefore it is flawed just as our race is. Though I must say you have my respect for being a open minded Christian. ^^

It's impossible to disprove God, but God could prove (and in subtle ways, has proved) his existence to us in a variety of ways. I find it hard to believe that anyone who stares up at the incalculable number of stars in the night sky, stands in awe at the view from the top of a mountain, or marvels at the awesome power of a thunderstorm can possibly think that this was the random work of evolution. These things bear the mark of deliberate design, and the designer is the Lord our God, whether we chose to admit it or not.

Even Einstein understood this. He may not have believed in a personal God that cares about our everyday lives, but he knew that a supreme being created the universe and governs the laws of nature and physics.

its very egotistical and narrow minded to think that we are alone in this galaxy.i like to look at it as if the Gods all have their own 'aquarium' of species.the oldest religions worshipped 'natural Gods' and many of them. we are now taught something that men say is right. how do we know that there is only one true god.how do we actually know that the devil didnt try to make his own race and ended up with apes?that would explain the evolution theory.and why dont preachers teach us about the land of nod where cane and able found their wives?Jesus taught simple tasks that were performed by believing in one's self. he was a simple man that had simple but powerful messages to spread.we need to look past the literal meaning of the bible and look at the lesson that is supposed to heard not feared.

If you're saying that we're born with an innate knowledge that there is a God then I'm sorry, you're mistaken. Many people live their lives without ever being aware of that concept.
