Regarding this jesus character....
So jesus is a Demi-god. He is a god in human form. He also never sinned in his life. (Though some of you christians say he was human so he wasn't perfect and therefore could have sinned.)
So how exactly could a demi-god who could raise the dead, walk on water, cure lepers, etc. be tortured to death so easily? Why is it that the Roman soliders had such an easy time killing him? I'm not talking about him resisting. That would go against character, I'm saying that a Demi-god who could not commit sin, WOULDN'T be a human and therefore most likely wouldn't be tortured like a human.
Why didn't honey and gold flow out of his wounds?
Why did he feel any pain?
He could cure illness but not his own wounds?
I know the answer I'll get: 'you're just like the people who told him he should use his powers to get off the cross'. Well, why wouldn't he use his powers? He's a Demi-god his entire life and then decides to die like a pig in the end?
ZERO LOGIC.

Your question is good, but I like Thomas Paine's question even better--

"The Christian mythologists tell us that Christ died for the sins of the world, and that he came on Purpose to die. Would it not then have been the same if he had died of a fever or of the small pox, of old age, or of anything else?

"The declaratory sentence which, they say, was passed upon Adam, in case he ate of the apple, was not, that thou shalt surely be crucified, but, thou shalt surely die. The sentence was death, and not the manner of dying. Crucifixion, therefore, or any other particular manner of dying, made no part of the sentence that Adam was to suffer, and consequently, even upon their own tactic, it could make no part of the sentence that Christ was to suffer in the room of Adam. A fever would have done as well as a cross, if there was any occasion for either."

You have no clue. I'm not about to get into semantics because you have heard about Jesus, thus if you chosen to reject Him so I have absolutely no obligation to try to convert you. That is one of the fine points many sects ignore. Jesus said to preach His word, but if anyone rejects that word, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that city. Jesus was perfect. Pig? Logic in a populist sense has no meaning when it comes to truth. Either something is real or it isn't. Enjoy your unbelief if you can. Then again you will never be able to get away from the question, "But what if I'm wrong"?

He can't He is a dimi-god like you say. He never died on the cross. He was in a mystic trance. He rose from his trance and went on preaching for years. NO one can kill a pure devotee. Nor should we do human sacrifices. That is forbidden as is animal sacrifices. So That is forbidden to kill someone or some animal and think now you will have no sin. The quite the opposite.
It is the most abominable act and is forbidden. Man said Jesus died or our sins. Jesus said those who believe in me and Believing means following his teachings and he said "Go and sin no more. For the original teachings of Jesus google gospelofthenazirenes.com Following the truth will set you free. Not following the Roman governments version. He suffered for our sins. He knows that there would be assholes / insenstive germs like you who would question Him one day, who would sin by words. His pain washed away our sins.

He is God. NO HUMAN OR WHATSOEVER COULD HAVE ENDURED SUCH PAIN. THE COUNTLESS BEATINGS AND TORTURE HE GOT...HE COULD HAVE DIED immediately when they were beating him. BUT INSTEAD HE WITHSTAND IT ALL JUST FOR YOU AND ME. AND HE ALLOWED HIMSELF TO BE CRUCIFIED. No HUMAN WOULD HAVE WANT THAT TO HAPPEN TO HIMSELF. HE WAS THE SON OF GOD...YOU SEE. HE WANTED TO FULFILL WHAT HIS FATHER WANTED HIM TO DO.

And the people torturing Him didn't believe that He was God. They were doubting him..weren't they? That explains why He was treated more as a human during his death.

In His greatness, He forgived those who tortured Him.

You know something, Jesus is trying to make a point that Forgiveness does not come easily. It comes with a price and it is pain. Nothing in this world comes easily. It takes blood and sweat.

Jesus is not a demi-God. You know not your scriptures.
He is fully God, and fully human.
