I have been exchanging emails with a woman from the former United Soviet Socialist Republic. She wants to come spend time with me. I am so over joyed that a woman wants me but I am unsure as to how safe it is. It is odd that she some how eludes the questions i ask. Should I be wary?

You should always be wary of people you don't know. Especially ones who seem to avoid answering questions. I'm interested to know why you are so over joyed that "a" woman wants you???? Are you overjoyed that SHE wants you or any woman? Think about that a bit...

You are the one in control on this one. She wants to come see YOU. You just need to figure out if she has an ulterior motive or if she genuinely likes you.

Look at some sites like this one http://www.antiscam.net/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=371 to see what might be going on. If this is just somebody you MET online and not through an agency then it may be she just likes you..

Whatever you do don't give out any financial information or social security numbers or let her deposit money in YOUR checking account (giving her account info).

Just make sure your not sooo attracted to the thought of being with her that your not willing to act on the warning signs you see.

Hope it works out and I do hope she is the one for you! :-)

its a bit of a gamble --- from her point of view as well --- she is probably right to be a little wary until you can meet and show her that you are who you say you are --- if she asks for money to come over or for passport etc then you need to be aware that there are a lot of scams around --- check the net there are sites that list some of the scammers ---- best wishes --- my lady is from overseas and she is for real
