Lawyers find judgements from prior cases in arguing their cases, and sometimes they are quite brillant.
Maybe you just have sour grapes because there are so many answers in and applications of the Bible.

I hate to sound rude but maybe if you tried asking a question that might help someone try to give an answer. And yes I do think for myself I also read the word of God and then I make my decisions based on wisdom I have gained from listening to the one who created me, the best I can.

What is original? Doesn't the universe exist regardless of our opinion of it?
What are you looking for? It's not as if truths change. Why do you think the Bible hasn't disappeared? There's some truth to it. It's a good reference in many ways. If it was ALL a lie, it wouldn't have survived. Truths are eternal, and falsehoods need truth to survive.

There seems to be soooo many people out there that seem to think they are unique (original). Even though there have been billions of people before them, they think they are original, and have original thoughts! Supreme ego?

That's a good question, but, we quote from the bible because we live by Gods word. He is the Author and Finisher of our Faith. Amen.
We do often think for ourselves, but, the Lord directs our steps.
And, God Bless You Too.

Yes.
I give answers based on the reality that I can perceive as being correct, and based on what I consider trustworthy science.
I you do not like the answers I give, then that is not my problem.
