I know what state they were born in and year of birth, but the first, middle and last names are very common.

Do you know where they were residing when they would have passed on? If you do, you would call the court in the county they lived in & the info is for public record. They would gladly give you all the info. BUT, you have to have a place to start & at least find out where they were living. I also did the same thing w/a relatie & got my ans. of when she died & all the info I needed.
