my sister in law is coming to visit and i have nothing plan for us to do what can we do while she is her

Depends upon how long of a stay it is. Shes coming to see YOU, so just make nice dinners complete with wine and a nice desert (extends the amt of time at the dining table, thus, the time spent catching up.) Maybe go out to eat one eve and then to a nightclub or a good movie. If theres a zoo close, or if its hot enough to go to the pool, then go there. Do a brunch date or a trip to the mall. Maybe even have some friends over for a wine and cheese gathering...she can catch up with other friends she may have in the neighborhood. If not, then she'll meet some new ones. You can even go pick out a movie or two together, make some popcorn, and enjoy the nite in. Youll think of things!

You don't say what her interest are. but for example if she likes to get out and walk and likes animals take her to your city's zoo. your outdoors in fresh air and walking at the same time.
You could do the mall thing and shop.. Spend a half day together at a spa. Buy to passes for you and her and get pampered I think she'd like that .
Go for bike rides many places now offer rentals down by a lake or canoe rides.
Its hard to tell without knowing what her preference are. If she likes to get out and do things or just lay back in a park and read a good book.
Find out what her personality is like and some of her hobbies and work around that as your main event.

Without knowing where you live...what kind of attractions are around your area? Is there a site seeing place that she has not visited that she would like to?

you don't have to be busy everyday. why not take in some local sites? shopping and lunch could be fun too.
