I would argue that gay parents would be better parents than average.
In hetro relationships there are a significant numbers of pregnancies by accident. Parents who do not want children have them anyway.
In gay relationships there has to be an active decision to have a child. They really want a child and want to take care of it. Gay men are going to have to adopt, which means that they are going to get vetted by the adoption agency, making it even more likely that they are suitable parents. I would imagine that gay women adopt at a higher than average rate too.

I will be so happy when everyone realizes that PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE........ We are distinguished by how we treat others not who we love. I have yet to understand how someone finding someone else to love is the business of anyone other than the two people in love. I thought love was a good thing.

Love is love...just because you're gay doesn't mean you can't feel compassion for another. It all comes down to how they treat the child. If its a loving home, its fine by me.
