The rift between God and man was not of God's making - we sin - a holy God cannot condone nor live with sin. A loving God as well, God chose to give all a way back into a relationship with Him. His Way, not man's way. Whether you feel it to be unfair, totally fair, or somewhere in between, it is what it is - the only way back into relationship with Him. Me, I personally don't try and second guess God - I have limited understanding being a finite and limited being - I will trust in Him. For others, it's their choice. yet another gift from God - freedom to choose. Ahhh, but that is a different topic.

13 ¶ Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

This scripture taken from Matthew chapter 7 also illuminates the idea that there is only one entry into heaven. But it is also interesting that in this scripture Jesus is not talking to those that don't believe in an attempt to tell them they must believe in order to get into heaven. Rather He is telling them that they must believe the path that He teaches in order to enter there.

In our day many teach their philosophy of Christ's gospel. But that isn't Christ's gospel, it's an interpretation of such. The gospel of Christ is something that must be found through study and prayer, then confirmed by the Holy Ghost.

How do I feel about that. As one who has had that confirmation, I take comfort that I'm on the path. I have a spiritual witness that Christ has again established His church upon the earth, and that all are invited. Heck, I'm confident that an honest seeker of truth could study up on what I'm talking about, and then ask God; in all sincerity, and true intent to follow... that one could do those things, and receive a spiritual manifestation that these things are true. Thats how I feel.

I feel good about it. I feel that we only need one way into heaven, and that way is through Jesus Christ. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the light. That gives me peace of mind.

I feel that is the absolute truth. That's what the Bible says. Only one way -- Jesus Christ. None of us can live a good enough life to get to Heaven on our own.

i don't like it because i think that many people don't know this and may miss it. and those that do know it often have an arrogant attitude of noninclusion, condemnation and rejection that drives others away from the One Way.

however i believe what Jesus said. my hope is that His Way is one which people can pass through/on... even if they don't know it is His Way.

i'm hoping that Jesus is the Bridge and that people can be led to that bridge in different ways and maybe not even know His Name while crossing.

the Bible says that there are different ways of acknowledging God and our need for Him in Romans chapter 1: conscience, creation as well as Christ... and that acknowledgement of our need for Him seems to me to be the basis of faith and salvation.

so as long as people aren't arrogant about exactly how the Bridge must be crossed, then i think that One Way is just an appropriate, kindly pointed arrow pointing to Jesus who provided for us the Bridge..

Thankful and Happy that Jesus gave us the GIFT of having that way to Heaven! Otherwise not a single human would make it there.

The question is not how do I feel about it, but what did Christ mean when he said it and how different is that from popular interpretation? Considering that Christ focused on the eternal spiritual aspect of humanity and not the material, it is very likely that he was referring to his spiritual eternal reality not his flesh and bones or human nature personality. It's his light his words and teachings shed upon humanity that is the issue, not the lamp known as Jesus. So what does that mean? We have to search for that same light no matter from what source it comes. "But by me" ME is,his reality, his light, his truth, not his body. This man-made barrier has caused great conflict, suffering, and tragic loss among not only Christians but among Christians and the other bringers of the continuing revleation of god. Light is light no matter in which lamp it shines.

I find it to be absurdly self-limiting.

But then, I don't believe that such a literal interpretation is what was being suggested. Perhaps Jesus was referring to a larger picture, to everyones Christ consciousness, as it were.

This can be cognized through all expressions of self aware realization.

I think Buddha and Jesus were more alike than different, and each was here to bring the opportunity for devine grace to

Guru is one. Though God sends his Pure sons at different times places and circumstances. Jesus in one of the many sons of God. Man made up the part (ONLY) God is not limited to one Son but the truth is One. It is bogus to say that all those who did not know Jesus or hear of Him will suffer in eternal hell. That is a radical fanatical bogus misunderstanding. God is Unlimitedly merciful and gives free will. He allows us to accept Him or reject Him.He never condems one to hell for that. It is our actions which determine our reactions. God is not punishing. It is automatic.(what goes around comes around) Though when one fully surrenders to Him he takes away ones sinful reactions. One must understand reincarnation and karma, and no one goes to hell eternally to understand Gods unlimited mercy and love. For the original teachings of Jesus before King Constantine changed the bible google gospelofthenazirenes.com Following the Truth will set you free. Not following the Roman Governments version which is what the mainstream bible of today is.

Well... it has been said that Jesus was either a liar, lunatic... or lord.

Lot's of questions in life have only one correct answer, life is full of requirements... and increasing expectations. Why would life after death be any different?
