Its still English as the official Arizona state language .. God bless Sheriff Joe...The Maricopa country Sheriffs Dept actively arrests illegal aliens.

I think it was more a case of MAKING English the official language. After all, English is not the official language of the USA - despite the necessity of applicants for citizenship to be able to read, write and understand English.
