isn't this the section on tattoo questions? why do people come on here and reply to people's questions saying, "don't get a tattoo!" ... this should be a forum for those who take interest in tattooing not for those who are trying to change our minds! geez :P

Well...
1. It shows up on the master new list of questions, so everyone sees it even if they're not in this section.
2. Anonymity grants cojones of steel & people seem to think the tattooed are tough guys/women, so the wusses of the world see this as their chance to ding the inked.
Real strength is when you can do something, and you don't. Those posters lack that quality.

I didn't know until this week that there was such a thing as a Air Brushed tattoo. My granddaughter talked me into letting her get one. It looks cute and last about 10 days. I think anyone that is considering body art might try this first to see if they really like it an not spend the big buck getting a tattoo and then decide you wished you hadn't.

it's important to see the different views about pretty much everything; tattooing included. someone who is against tattooing may be able to point out something that you didnt see or realize before. they dont always have to change your mind to be a help. for example, if you're very caught up in getting a tattoo, then you may accidently skip over safety precaustions and procedures. however, if someone against tattooing posts that you should not get a tattoo because it isnt safe, it will remind you to check out your safety precautions.

I totally agree with you. I dont understand why people bother coming here just to give their opinion on tattoos. do they honestly think their saying "dont get a tattoo" is going to make someone think "oh hey...they said dont get one so I'm not going to" yeah right! and I hate when people say you'll regret it when your older. why would I regret it? because it will get wrinkly? so will their skin so whats the difference? people are stupid

Eh, I guess technically it could be someone saying "I got a tattoo like that and I regret it.. I'd recommend not getting it!"
Other then something like that, it sounds like a jerk thing to do.
