make sure you are eating enough - when you deprive your body it stores all you eat in fat reserves and burns muscle for energy - so basically you are gaining fat.
laxatives do not help you lose fat - they just get waste out of your body which would have come out eventually anyway.

Yeah what ^ said. Not only that but by taking (abusing more like it) laxatives will cause your colon to become lazy. Laugh now cause later it wont be so funny. Im serious. Exercise or some thing else. Lay off the laxitives unless you want real problems.

Why in the world are you taking laxatives? That WILL NOT decrease your calorie intake. You need to stop taking this and start drinking water, increase your exercise and focus on low fat, high protein meals. NO white bread, potatoes, soda, fried foods, etc. Eat plenty of vegetable, boneless skinless chicken and more. You need to take care of yourself, taking laxatives is NOT the answer!

If you are eating healthy and getting plenty of exercise and staying the same weight or gaining weight, you should see a doctor as you may have a thyroid problem or another health issue. If you are at a normal BMI (you can check at www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi) you shouldn't worry about losing weight unless a doctor tells you that you should. And if your boyfriend or friends are telling you that you should lose weight and you are at a normal BMI, they are not really your friends and you should get away from them.

Stay away from laxatives. They will not help you lose weight and can be detrimental to your health. The only way to lose weight is through healthy eating and exercise.
