This is a religion and spirituality question? lol Well yes, in all honesty I do. For a couple different reasons. First off I think it looks better then being up for everyone to see into. Plus I have a cat and 5 dogs, I don't need all them animals drinking out of our toilets all the time.
Just wondering why you would even ask this type of a question though. Are you deliberating on whether or not to keep yours up or down.......?????

I never lift it up. I've got great aim.
But really, I have no sympathy for women who complain about someone leaving the seat up and they sit down and sink all the way into the bowl. I mean, come on, who sits on a toilet before checking the landing area first?

Must be trying to get guys to be honest, put their hand on the bible and honestly answer, do they put the seat down, after they use it?
I think that's why I am glad I live alone LOL...
Maybe for the future use, should have two washrooms LOL, one for women only, the other for men ONLY, that is their normal stall similiar to the ones in men's washrooms in malls---You get my point!

Not usually, but if the toilet needs like a major cleaning, then totally.

I don't lift it up in the first place...I'm a female.
But I have my husband trained. If he leaves it up, I'll call him back to the bathroom to put it down again. After so many times of that....he rarely forgets.

Honestly, if I use the toilet SEAT, it's already down.

I put the lid down when I'm done because when you flush, fecal matter sprays everywhere! Gross!
My boyfriend of 2 years puts it down when he's done.
I'm so proud!
