Is this a trick question or something? Gas is a by product of our digestive processes. Farting is not bad. It just smells bad....most of the time. I believe that passing gas became non acceptable during the Victorian times. So many values that were perceived to be UPPER class, or VICTORIAN, were accepted as desirable behaviors. Boy, what crap. I have no idea how women, who were part of that social class, survived. Very uncomfortably from what I've read. Corsets, merry widows, suppressed sexual desire, natural body function, like pooping and farting, were absolutely non-acceptable, not even in private. They were considered unladylike. I am so happy that I grew up on a farm. Acts of reproduction by the animals that provided and income for our family were a reality and considered necessary. I was unaware of the stigma associated with reproductive activity until I became employed by a large chemical company in St. Louis. Now that was an education. So, NO, flatulence is no perversion. It's necessary.
