It started with two warts on two of my fingers. I had the doc torch them with liquid nitrogen twice, and they went away. Now, I've got two sizeable warts on my thumb and middle finger, as well as six or eight other smaller warts on my hands that are just starting out. Some of them are hardly visible, but I know that they're on there way. It seems like everytime I look at my hands, I find another bud. How do I (1) stop them from spreading! and (2) get the damn things off my hands?

My husband is going through the same thing and is being treated by a doctor for it. It is a long process and I know you have to get to the root of the wart to make them not return but as I keep telling him I'm sure you would have to take a medication as well to rid yourself of the virus causing them. You probably should return to your doctor. Did you see your regular doc or a dermatologist? I suggest a dermatologist.
Good luck.

Stop cleaning fish, touching frogs. get a Dr. Schols warts remover at the drug store and apply every night and it will be removed by itself when the right time comes. Direction is in the box. Good luck!

warts are caused by a virus, the only way to rid yourself of them is to freeze them off. Keep washing your hands to prevent further spread.

I don't know if this really works or not, but several times I've read that if you put duct tape on them, they will dry up.
