I have braces and have monthly payments of 160 the remaining balance is $1710 if I pay it all off will it build my credit?? It is a 2 year contract started on april 2006 and I want ot pay it off now will it build my credit?? anyone???

Sadly this will probably only show on your credit if you don't pay it off. Doctors and Orthodontists do the financing more as a favor.
Credit cards, loans and other debts where there is interest also being paid are usually the only debts that report to the credit beaurues on a regular basis.pp

Probably not but you can sure ruin your credit if you are late on the payments or don't pay him. Just pay him the monthly amount. Most dentists or orthodontists don't charge any interest anyway.
